Mold air sampling is conducted by collecting non-viable spore trap samples directly within areas of concern, along with an outdoor control sample for baseline comparison. Using calibrated air sampling pumps operating at industry-standard flow rates, we obtain representative breathing zone samples to evaluate airborne fungal spore concentrations within the indoor environment. The outdoor control establishes the normal ecological background, allowing for accurate comparison between indoor and exterior conditions to determine whether spore levels are elevated or consistent with typical ambient air.
All samples are submitted under documented chain-of-custody to an AIHA-LAP, LLC accredited microbiology laboratory for analysis. Results are compiled into a comprehensive written report prepared by a certified industrial hygienist and include spore identification by genus grouping, total spore concentrations, comparison to the outdoor baseline, professional interpretation, and clear recommendations where warranted. As an independent environmental consulting firm that does not perform remediation, our assessments remain objective and data-driven, providing defensible documentation to support informed decision-making.
