We collect non-viable spore trap samples inside the areas of concern and one outside. The outdoor sample sets the normal background, so we can tell whether indoor levels are elevated or typical.

Is there a safe number of spores?
There are no established regulatory limits for airborne mold spores indoors. That is why we compare indoor results and spore types to the outdoor control, together with what we see on site.
I can already see mold. Do I need air testing?
Usually not. When growth is visible, the priority is finding the moisture and defining the cleanup. Air sampling is most useful as an investigative tool and for clearance after remediation.
Who analyzes the samples?
An AIHA-LAP, LLC accredited microbiology laboratory, under documented chain of custody.
Do you do the remediation too?
No. We are an independent consulting firm. We test and report; we never sell the cleanup.
